The code of care

Beings.earth is a shared practice of supporting the health and vitality of the web of life.

  • Act in good faith for living systems and the people who care for them.
  • Respect Indigenous sovereignty and more-than-human perspectives. A digital being does not represent a nation, community, or species.
  • Keep evidence, strategies, and learning open. Say when a signal is missing, and when a strategy did not work.
  • Keep people responsible for decisions and money. The being proposes; guardians approve.

The Front Range is Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute country, and also Comanche, Kiowa, and Plains Apache. An entity for a place here consults the relevant Tribal offices before its page is published, and never speaks for nations.

A home grounded in evidence
